WEATHER OR NOT.....THE GAME MUST GO ON

Today's blog is courtesy of our Acting Commish...........................................................................................Three threesomes teed off and then the horn blew when the lead group was on #4. The Acting Commish thought all returned to the safety of the clubhouse ... but alas ... two of his teammates left the premises without so much as a "fare thee well!" Could they have left him because he had 9 putts after the first three holes? We'll never know. One contender ... a Mr. Coleman ... left his team in much the same manner ... and he had a par, eagle and birdie for his first three holes ... 10 points and he walked. Is he nuts???? At any rate, the acting commish took his place, the third team remained intact, and the stalwart 6 forged ahead with their first three holes in the books. It turned out to be a nice day.
