Conditions:  On Thursday, twelve golfers participated on another coolish and cloudy day, 59-63 degrees, 7-12 mph winds, 40% humidity, firm fairways and mid-speed greens.

Team Winners:  Dunlavy, Eggert, Hall & Herrick won the front (+3) and total (+5).  Blackwell, Clark, Dister & Johnson won the back (+5).

Individual Winners:  Dunlavy & Herrick tied the front (+4).  Clark & Herrick tied the back (+4).  Herrick locked down the total with (+8).

Closest to the Holes:  Eggert won #7 & Dister took #14.

Even/Plus Points Club:  Herrick (+8), Clark (+4), Curran & Dunlavy (+3), Eggert & Johnson (+2).  Blackwell (€).

Golf Tip:  Play the correct ball. If you have less than a high swing speed, you should be playing one of those low-compression balls. Forget about the “Distance” balls. They only go farther if you swing at high speeds. Forget about the “Tour” balls like the Pro V-1 or anything that says “Tour” on it. You need a ball that will compress at an average or lower swing speed that will give you the greatest distance like the Titleist So-Lo, Srixon Soft Feel or Maxfli Noodle for examples.
