Conditions:  On Saturday, eight golfers played on pleasant and partly cloudy day, 55-68 degrees, 4-8 mph winds, 55% humidity and dry fairways.

Team Winners:  Johnson, Kossmann, Miller & Moosman swept the front (-1), back (+3) and total (+2).

Individual Winners:  Moosman won the front (+2). Kossmann won the back (+3).  They tied the total (+4).

Closest to the Holes:  Moosman won #3 and Johnson won #11.

Golf Stuff:  A shipment of golf equipment to Charleston, South Carolina in 1739, aided in the founding of the South Carolina Golf Club in 1787 and an advertisement for golf clubs and balls in the Royal Gazette of New York City in 1779.  However, much like other parts of the world who adopted the sport early, no real traction was gained until early 19th century.
