Conditions:  On Thursday, fourteen golfers played on a warm and partly cloudy day. 78-82 degrees, 4-6 mph winds, 50% humidity, dry fairways and mid-speed greens.

Team Winners:  Crow, Curran, Hall & Moosman swept the front (+9), back (+4) and total (+13).

Individual Winners:  Hall won the front (+5) and total (+6). Clark, Crow & Kavanaugh tied the back (+2).

Golf Stuff: Hitting out of fairway bunkers…  Club Selection: Choose a club with enough loft to clear the lip of the bunker. If the lip is high, opt for a more lofted club like a wedge.  Ball Position: Place the ball slightly forward in your stance to ensure clean contact.  Stance and Setup: Dig your feet lightly into the sand for stability, but avoid overdoing it. Keep your weight evenly distributed.  Swing Technique: Focus on making ball-first contact. Aim for a smooth, controlled swing rather than trying to hit the ball hard.  Follow Through: Maintain balance and finish your swing fully to ensure a clean shot.
