A LITTLE WIND, A LITTLE RAIN, AND A LITTLE MUD

Ten old timers took to the course yesterday and were treated to windy conditions, a short rain storm and pretty slow putting surfaces. I must admit, I actually made some regulation ball marks instead of the usual skid marks on the greens. There might be hope for softer greens, but if the temps stay up and the wind continues to blow, maybe not. Scoring was decent, as 5 players were positive for the day. The team of Bill, Tom, and Charlie J was the class of the field, sweeping the front +3, back -3, and total +3. Bill and Tom, along with the Acting Commish tie the front with +3. Charlie J and Rich tie the back, also +3. Bob and yours truly take 3rd with +1. As 3's were wild yesterday...Bill, Charlie J, and Bob tie total with +3. Charlie Johnson goes +1 to 30.
