ANOTHER REALLY WINDY AND TOUGH GOLFING DAY

It's always a great day when golfing your ball with friends is involved, but once again yesterday was certainly a challenge. The wind was constantly changing, the pace of play slowed to a crawl on the back, and the greens were a little fuzzy. Did I fail to mention that the rough is becoming very healthy, even after being mowed. Ten of us took to the first tee, with no one scoring any better than even for the day. Bill, Tom and Dennis, won the front +3, and total, -5. While Dave's A and D, along with Bob, took the back at -4. As expected, all three teams were minus for the day. Tom and Dennis with +2, tied the front, with Charlie J coming in 3rd at even (including a 40 foot putt, and holing out from the sand on number 4). Dave D wins the back with +1, Bill 2nd at -1, Charlie J and Ray tying for 3rd. Dennis and Dave D tie total with a pair of evens, and Bill and Charlie J taking 3rd, each with -2. Charlie Curtis -1 to 32. Bob Coleman -1 to 31. Dennis Harrison -1 to 22.
