Conditions:  On Thursday, thirteen golfers participated on warm and partly sunny day, 82-85 degrees, 10-18 mph winds, 50% humidity, moist fairways and mid-speed greens.

Team Winners:  Curran, Dunlavy & Johnson tied Hall, Meyer & Moosman on the front (+1) and tied Blackwell, Coleman, Herrick & Kossmann for the total (+1).  Clark, Eggert & Purschke took the back (+3).

Individual Winners:  Coleman & Hall tied the front (+2).  Eggert & Kossmann tied the back (+4).  Kossmann won the total (+4).

Closest to the Holes:  Curran was closest on #3 and Hall snuggled #11.

Even/Plus Points Club:  Kossmann (+5), Eggert (+4), Dunlavy (+3), Coleman & Curran (+2) and Hall (+1).

75 & Below Score Club:  Eggert (73) and Clark & Coleman (74).

Golf Stuff:  The worst score registered on the PGA Tour is the 123 Mike Reasor recorded in the third round of the 1974 Tallahassee Open. Reasor was actually less “bad” than badly injured. After making the 36-hole cut, he went horseback riding and fell from his horse. Since a requirement for securing his place in the next week’s field was completing all 72 holes of the tournament, Reasor played the final two rounds (he shot a fourth-round 114) with serious injuries to his shoulder, knee, and ribs. He persevered by swinging with one arm and using just a five-iron, two wedges and a putter.
