Conditions:  On Thursday, nine golfers played on a warm, and mostly cloudy day. 85-87 degrees, 1-4 mph winds and 70% humidity.  The greens were quite slow.

Team Winners:  Eggert, Hall & Johnson tied Clark, Meyer & Miller on the front (+3) and win the back (+2) and total (+5).

Individual Winners:  Eichelberger, Hall, Johnson & Miller tied the front (+2). Johnson won the back (+3) and total (+5).

75 & Below Score Club:  Clark (71), Crow (72) and Hall & Johnson (74).

Golf Stuff: Why Is LPGA Play Often Slow?  Several factors contribute:  Detailed pre-shot routines: Players often take extra time visualizing shots, consulting caddies, and adjusting for wind or terrain.  Course difficulty: Tough setups with tricky greens and long roughs slow down decision-making.  Lack of enforcement: Until recently, penalties for slow play were rare, so players didn’t feel pressure to speed up.  Cultural norms: Some players were simply more methodical, and without consequences, slow habits persisted.  Even top players like Nelly Korda and Charley Hull have voiced frustration, calling for stricter enforcement to protect the sport’s entertainment value
