Tuesday, July 23rd: Hall’s (+2) is Enough!

NOTE:   Closest to the holes for July are #7 & #11.

Conditions:  On Tuesday, six golfers played on a hot and sunny day. 91-95 degrees, 1-4 mph winds and 65% humidity.  The greens were quite slow.

Team Winners:  Coleman, Curran & Eggert won the front with a blistering (-5).  Hall, Kossmann & Miller take the front (+6) and the total (€).

Individual Winners:  Coleman won the front (+1).  Hall and Miller tied the back (+3).  Hall won the total (+2).

Even/Plus Points Club: Hall (+2) and Coleman & Miller (+1).

75 & Below Score Club:  Coleman (73) and Hall (74).

Closest to the Hole:  Coleman won #7 and Curran took #11.

Golf Stuff: In 2025, the LPGA introduced a revamped Pace of Play Policy to crack down on delays4:  Time Over Allotted          Penalty… +1–5 seconds – Fine… +6–15 seconds -      One-stroke penalty… +16 seconds or more - Two-stroke penalty.  Additional changes: ⏱️ No more 10-second grace for the first player to hit on par 4s and 5s (except reachable par 4s)

·        Grace still applies for par 3s, approach shots, and putts

·        🕵️‍♀️ Players are timed when their group is out of position, either behind the group ahead or over the “time par” for the hole

·        📋 Repeat violations lead to double fines the following year

The LPGA hopes these changes will make rounds more watchable and competitive. And judging by early penalties handed out this season, they’re serious about enforcement
