Please make sure and read the below info as provided by our acting commish regarding a refresher on some of our rules of play.
A quick rules refresher for all our new members.
All flower beds are a free drop.
Any ball seen to go in rough and not found: drop a ball as close as possible to where you think it should be and add a stroke. This does not apply to balls in creeks, lakes or out of bounds. (This rule may change if the rough is ever cut to a length facilitating the finding of a ball.)
Players 49 and younger can choose a tee (or combination of tees; Black, Blue, Blue/Black, and play from there. Once you've chosen your tee or combination, stick with it. You can play the ball down or up as you choose ... just do the same thing all the time.
Players from 50 to 69 can add the White tees to the equation. Play all White, Blue/White, whatever ... just do it all the time.
Players 70 to 74 can play Gold tees with the exception of the par 3s. You must play White tees on all par 3s.
When you're 75, you can play Gold par 3s as well.
When you're 80, you can move to all Reds.
85 and older can play Family Tees on all holes but par 3s. You must play Red tees on par 3s. And God Bless You for playing.
All balls inside the leather are gimmes. Put your putter head in the cup and if any part of the ball is inside the leather, it's considered good. If not, putt it.
The woods on the right side of 13 are to be played as a lateral hazard (2 club lengths from where the ball went in ... add one stroke.) If anyone feels strongly about applying the same rule to the woods to the right of 2, let's hear about it.
Sand traps are rake and place until further notice.
Please, do what you can to stay in touch with the group in front of you.
TM and BC go up 1. RC, LE, TA and MP drop 1.
